The Hubert L. "Hooks" Jones Chapter  Tuskegee Airmen Endowment Scholarship Fund was established to honor the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African American men who served our country with distinction during World War II. These men made an impact on society that went beyond their military service and the purpose of the scholarship is to continue their impact on future generations. The Tuskegee Airmen were patriotic, disciplined and competitive. Most importantly, they represented the principle of fairness to all. University of Denver hopes that recipients of this scholarship will be inspired by these men and will help honor their legacy by adopting these same values in their lives.
